Escape

They gave her a seed
which she planted and nurtured
this tender beginning
In time, the tree brought gifts

Red, shiny, ecologic apples
He wasn’t supposed to eat them
as this fruit could give him certain trips
Impetuous Adam was tempted

A snake just happened to slide by this scene
Fear grew in the man when he got stuck in its eye
Like a neverending, lucid dream
But then love caught up with him

Cleansed out and one level up
Adam wakes up with a start
decides to walk over to his Eve
and ask her if this was real

The tune of her voice had changed
into colourful words, like a play
He found her irresistable
she kissed him and said “listen up darling,
we no longer need this garden”
